There are loads of statistics out there on the survival rate of small businesses in their first year. Let's face it, having your own business is not easy (otherwise everyone would be doing it). But there are certain things I truly believe will ensure your success.

 

For the first 4 months of my business I was struggling to make money, I had NO ONE pitch for my webinar, I was scared of creating anything and getting visible because of fear of judgement and I had wasted hours on end watching every webinar that popped up on my news feed.

Here are some tips for creating the wildly successful business you desire...

 

1. Work on your mindset and let go of self - limiting beliefs, doubts and embrace fears. Fears are your friend, if you are not scared in some way...you are probably not stretching yourself enough! Feel the fears and do it anyway..over and over. 

 

2. Master your money mindset I hear so many money blocks and money stories from ladies. The fact is you can't build a THRIVING business if you don't feel you are deserving of abundance, you feel icky about selling and you don't want to charge your worth. 

 

3. Invest in your business + believe without a doubt that it is coming back your way. It is scary investing in your business but living an unfulfilled life is ALOT worse. I have invested over $40K in my business in coaching, courses, branding, advertising. I didn't have it all at the time, but I made the decision that investing meant BIG return. And its definitely all come back to me and MORE. 

 

4. Get support - I was looking back to when I first started my business which was just over a year ago now. I made ZERO $$ in my business for 4 months of faffing and guessing. I had a website, I had a Facebook page, I had listened to every webinar that came my way....but unfortunately I didn't really know how to build an incredible business. I hired a coach and I made $4200 the next month.  When things are not going your way, you need someone in your corner that has done it before you. Some ladies have said to me, I am not sure if I need a coach for 6 months...I have had a coach for 10 months and I am still learning and GROWING.

 

5. Stay persistent and never just disappear. Even though I was making NO money in the first 4 months of my business and I was at a low point, I recognised the importance of showing up, being real and honest. 

 

6. Identify what your ideal clients WANT rather than what they NEED ie. they want to feel energetic, vibrant and healthy. They need a Health Coach (even though this may not be the first thing they think about) Sell the benefits always. 

 

7. Don't be afraid of being visible. Visible means others can find you and when your ideal client can find you, you can help them and make an incredible impact in their lives. Selling is serving!

 

8. Don't pretend to be someone you are NOT. Make incredible money just being you!

 

9. Make your mind up! Successful women make decisions quickly and change their minds slowly. Sometimes you just need to go with your intuition and then stick with it for a period of time.

 

10. Suck it up buttercup. Take responsibility. Own your decisions and don't ever hold yourself back. 

 

11. Set SMART goals every month and look at a strategic plan to get there. No more it would be nice to earn X or I will try to manifest X. Decide that you WILL make X and you will make it by doing X,Y,Z.
